Banitsa is a traditional Bulgarian pastry made with multi-layered filo dough and sirene (hard white feta-like cheese). Usually referred to as Bulgarian feta cheese pie, it is often the reason why many people fall in love with Bulgarian cuisine. People often argue that there is nothing more Bulgarian than the banitsa.
This banitsa prepared following an original recipe and has that special classic Bulgarian banitsa taste. Just put in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes.
