Spartacus was a famous Thracian warrior from the Medi tribe that settled in southwestern Bulgaria. Spartacus was a gladiator who led the biggest slave rebellion against the Roman Republic in 1st century BC. The Thracians were famous for three main things: waging war, making jewelry, and producing wine.
Spartacus Special Reserve is an exquisite Cabernet Sauvignon wine from the lowlands of Upper Thracian Valley, made following the millennial old traditions inherited by the Thracians.
This wine has aromas of pure black cherry fruits with subtle tobacco leaf, violet, and vanilla aromas. It has a touch of tartness which lends to a lighter, more elegant, medium body. Excellent wine for dinner and special occasions.
