Well, simply Bulgarians are our brothers with Poland;-) But really my best friend is Bulgarian and she cannot get apricot rakia anywhere. She had to cancel flight to visit home. So I decided to find it for her birthday. I didn’t know it’s so difficult. I order probably too late.

Mostly because my wife is Bulgarian, and when we visit there I always have Kamenitza and rakia. My first taste of it was from a family in a village while we were going to hike up the Rila. Lots of good memories.
